BMR is basal metabolic rate. That is the resting metabolism of your body. When you are sitting and not doing any activity (or sleeping).
With regard to your energy levels, do you notice a pattern in energy? For example, it is low when you wake up but increases as the day progresses? This could shed light to possible imbalances you may have.
