The problem is that he can't gain weight. He's naturally thin and skinny! He is perfectly healthy otherwise. He eats 3 times a day and eats everything he can. He sleeps 7-9 hours a day. He is active. He has no medical condition. But he can't gain weight! He's 5'7" and weighs 42kg at 18y/o. He is very skinny. Please help.

AOA! He never lost any weight! He has been thin in childhood and he's 42kg for over 5 years. His weight is weirdly constant. He gained height in these years but weight remained same! He never lost it all of a sudden. I hope you get my point. What should he do to gain some weight? He's really desperate about that and tries to eat everything. ðŸ˜

And Yes, he's tolerating everything. He's really fit and active otherwise. He looks like he's been sick for life but he's completely healthy. Only thin and light.

Mashallah your boy is fit he don’t have any medical issues than half of the problem is solved you only have to do is give him shakes before sleep and after sleep banana shake and dates will be most beneficial and yes strawberry with banana too . Try it for a month you will feel a difference yourself. Don’t forget to update me. :)

For gaining weight you should keep in mind that you need to gain muscles and healthy body weight and avoid gaining fats. Add healthy food choices to his diet that are nutrient dense.
Try to consume all food groups in your major meals i.e breakfast, lunch and dinner
You can include eggs, cereals, milk, fruits and vegetables, protein in the form of legumes/ lentils/ beans, poultry, fish and meat... Add healthy fats like olive oil and nuts.
You have to follow healthy food choices which not only help you in gaining weight but also keep you healthy and fit in all aspects.
