Asking for Other, Male, 74 years old, Lahore

A man age 74 with high urea, creatinine and high potassium. But currently due to stop potato and stop banana and due to medicine his potassium is under control. There is no medicine for urea and creatinine. Blood pressure is under control after medicines, sugar is normal without medicine. But his weight is reducing and he is suffering form low appetite and digestive problem. What food, vegetable, fruit, dry fruit his should take and what to avoid? Can he take isabgol? Kindly give advice

Thanks. Which vegetable and fruit he should take and which should avoid. Currently potassium is under control, so he should take care for potassium or no.

You need to book an appointment for proper consultation and diet plan, he should take food with very restrictions but need to complete his calories per day. Yes he can take ispaghol.. but only one Tbsp. a day. He must drink plenty of water and fresh juices.
bitter guard, pumpkin, okra, bottle guard (kadu, teenday, tori) these are good options for vegetables. He should avoid red meat and add beans as protein sources. Apples, grapes, peaches, plum and watermelon are good fruit choices. Add one tsbp. olive oil either over salad or in milk daily.

when u take excess protein... creatinine level increases..
so u should restrict protein foods first...
it's better to book ur appointment so that u will be able to know that what to eat or what should avoid ..
