Aoa. I m a pcos patient for last 4 years. But the problem is I'm skinny. I'm 31 years old with 5.4 height. And my weight is 48 kgs. I'm in big trouble. I can eat any weight gain good bcz it elevates my pcos. On the other hand I had sunken cheeks and I feel physical weakness as well. Plz guide me how to gain healthy weight without disturbing my pcos.
Ws. You can add milk, nuts and lean meat in your diet. Avoid deep fried foods and carbonated beverages. Avoid processed foods. try to eat organic foods.
Try to do light exercises such as pelvic exercises and walk. Be active.

Kindly mention your height and weight, as in PCOS there is insulin resistance so one has to be careful in selection of food items, select fruits which has low glycemic index like apple, guava, papaya, strawberries, avocado and select non starchy vegetables like cauliflower, carrots, cucumber,spinach, etc with healthy choice of carbohydrates and protiens.
Kindly do consult your gynaecologist to handle hormonal disbalance .

I consulted a lot of gynaecologists but it proved useless. As each of them prescribed contraceptive pills and they disturbed my periods instead of curing my disease. So im fed up with that now. I want to treat it with food. But at the same time i want some muscle gain,.
