*"Assalamualaikum Doctor. my problem is that I eat a lot but I don't gain weight at all. My body doesn’t show it, I don’t gain, I don’t get stronger. My stomach feels lazy, and once every week or two, I get loose motions. I have to attend the washroom twice a day, and it feels like all the food I eat just comes out — like there’s no absorption at all. I’m also not gaining any weight despite eating a lot. What could be the issue? Please let me know if there’s any medicine you can prescribe for this. Actually, I’m a 3rd-year MBBS student at AMC, but this issue is pushing me into slight depression. I feel lazy and even find it hard to study. So what should I do?"*
