OCD is ocd though severity may differ
when a person suffers from OCD, he or she has intrusive thoughts that cause severe distress. the content of these thoughts differs for different people, some have religious themes, others have thoughts of contamination or cleanliness and some have sexual thoughts.
the treatment remains the same. In my experience although it is a tough disease to treat, however patients do get a lot of relief.
Yes we do treat religious OCD and it can improve with treatment. There are effective treatments available to make people feel better. We treat such conditions with both medications and psychotherapeutic interventions such as CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). If you have any queries i will be happy to answer those.
