Asslamu'alaikum I am over sensitive and over emotional. Someone suggests me to write a diary so it will help me to overcome my fear, anxiety and anger. But I have never tried it so I am confused that from where should I start? kindly advice me.

Just take a notebook and randomly start writing whatever comes into your mind. Even if it seems something stupid. Just keep writing with anything like a simple blue pen or pencil or whatever, nothing needs to be perfect. After you finish writing your thoughts, go ahead and read them, and you will wonder how you begin having control on you thoughts, repeat doing this and with the passage of time you will be more expert in writing. For example write, how was your day? What do you like about today? What do you hate about today? Why? Did anyone hurt you? How? How did you respond back? What are your feelings? Gradually maybe a month later, you find CBT sheets in google and try to fill them with your thoughts❤️

Writing a diary is a good idea but not the only way of treating your sensitivity. Writing a diary also requires a professional to listen to some of what you write and make it sense to you and help you to reach the bottom of the reason for your anxiety. You can write dairy but also focus upon taking professional help.

yes diary writing could be a good option to manage unhelpful emotions. And it will be a temperary relief for you for some time. This is what you'll deal on surface level.

Because I can get sad and happy over little things. I get hurt easily, overthink, and everyone says that I take everything so deeply, I can't tolerate anything even small rude behavior or anger can affect me very badly that's why I think I am over sensitive.
