Assalam-o-Alaikum! I’m a practicing child psychologist and ABA therapist. You’re doing your best to support your daughter, and it’s encouraging that she is showing improvement. Dyslexia does not mean a child is less intelligent; she may simply need a different learning approach. We need to understand why she struggles to recall and write answers during assessments and develop strategies according to her individual needs. I would recommend a one-to-one consultation to understand her difficulties and guide you on how to support her effectively at home and in school. You can book an appointment with me so we can discuss her concerns in detail and plan the next steps.

Wa Alaikum Assalam. I appreciate your dedication and your daughter’s hard work. Dyslexia can affect reading, spelling, written expression, and how a child demonstrates learning under exam conditions. Repeated revision alone may not be enough. In a counseling session, we can explore her learning needs, build confidence, and discuss practical study strategies. I also recommend working with a specialist in learning difficulties to develop an individualized educational plan and coordinate exam accommodations with her school. Please remember, your daughter’s potential is not defined by her marks.
