Talk to Psychologist on Psychotic
Asking for Brother, Male, 21 years old, Attock
My brother was treated by you at Benazir Bhutto Hospital and he had improved. However, it's been 7–8 months now, and although he was admitted 2–3 times during this period and we even changed doctors, his condition hasn't improved. He's been on Olanzapine and Campral for a long time but there's been no significant change.
He's otherwise fine but remains withdrawn, irritable, and hasn't come home in 4 months. He holds onto grudges and refuses to compromise. We are confused and don’t know where to go or what treatment to seek. What could be the reason for no improvement, and how can we help him to get better. He doesn't talk to any family members unnecessarily and holds a lot of anger inside. He doesn't even want to see his sister's face.Prolly the reason hes not coming home. Please tell us what should we do

He is in Catatonic phase, even he will never respond in session.So counseling will not be effective for him.You can only take care(hygiene+medication) of him.He can be managed but not improved.If you can afford please plan hospitalization for 5 to 6 months.
