Asking for Self, Female, 30 years old, Bahawalpur
I m diagnosed with osteoporosis with T SCORE OF -3.9 at age of 30,i have three kids..i have undergone other tests like CRP,RA FACTOR both are normal but my dr was of the opinion that at such young age there might b any underlying cause for osteoporosis therefore i undergo through peripheral morphology which suggests anisocytosis, poikilocytosis and target cells alongwith normal HB and elevated WBCs, Anyone plz guide me i m very tensed right now

first of all you should share ur dexa scan. it should hv been done from shaukat khanum if u r in Lahore. because some labs do dexa but there readings r not reliable.
secondly ur doctor is right at such a young age there should be some secondary cause of osteoporosis like endicrines, endocrine disorders, oral contraceptives and autoimmune disorders. if u want to take efurther consultation plz visit me in Lahore or aheikhupura or book online appointment. Sorry to hear about this,but it could be due to many reasons. Need detail history,examination. Common causes include primary or secondary severe vitamin D deficiency,glands problems, gut problems etc. Get checked up by rheumatologist. Treatment is available to treat osteoporosis.
