Asking For Mother, Female 55, Rahim yar khan
my mom is a potential arthritis patjent due to high sugar levels and blood pressure. now sugar and blood pressure is fine but from few days pain has started in right shoulder and elbow it changes places from shoulder to elbow. she is taking movex , nuberol and colchicine. pls advise a pain management considering kidneys risk till hospitals are open to go for arm scan

no issues in movement and all joints are fine. only thing is pain mid of shoulder and ankle thats it

Thanks for sharing ur concern. It’s very common for diabetic patients to have shoulder issues. Is she able to move her shoulder in all directions ? At what level of movement of the arm does the pain start? pain at rest ot only on movement? any pain in neck ? any pain in chest ? any clicking sounds from the shoulder. it would be better to book an online consultation to do some clinical tests which can be done on video consultation and manage her accordingly keeping in mind her kidneys. hope this helps.

no chest pain. BP is high to 165 movement is very easy we gave her stabilisers like probase so the BP is low today and she is comfortable
