Talk to Neuro Physician on Gpt Said Might Be Tourettes

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 20 years old, Rawalpindi

I have this problem of jerking my head involuntarily to the right side... like 10-12 times a minute..... Tried controlling it, thought it was a habit or something at first but soon found it out of control.

Also, used to jolt me left wrist before this....switched to head jerking overtime.

sometimes it's not tense, sometimes head hurts bad on specific areas. about 5 years since this started.

should i be concerned ?

Ideally, you should visit a neurologist in person with a video recording of what you are describing. But based on the above, it could be a tic (which could be due to tourette's). Also, it depends on your family history.
