give steam using normal saline plus coffee syrup and keep head high while sleeping
it is most likely allergic in nature. avoid the triggers like rice and butter and cold air. if not settling may take anti allergic meds. but they have sedation so should take at night and only when necessary. and should consider taking a flu shot after visiting a gp in person.
