Anal cancer is a condition in which cancerous cells are formed within the tissues of the anus which is the last portion of the gastrointestinal tube. It occurs rarely but extremely lethal in its nature.
The major causes for the development of anal cancer are
Infection by human papilloma virus
Weak immune system
Smoking or alcoholism

At an early stage of cancer, it is treated by medication but the proper treatment for developed anal cancer is surgical removal.
