Juvenile idiopathic arthritis, formerly known as juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, is the most common arthritis in children under the age of 16 years. This arthritis causes persistent joint pain, swelling, and stiffness. Some children have symptoms for only a few months while others may have symptoms for the rest of their lives. Some types of juvenile idiopathic arthritis can lead to serious complications, such as growth problems, joint damage, and eye inflammation. The treatment aims to control pain and inflammation, improve function and prevent joint damage.

Juvenile arthritis also termed as a pediatric rheumatic disease is an umbrella term for the combination of various autoimmune and inflammatory disorders that affect the children younger than 16 years. Most forms of juvenile arthritis have occurred without the known cause but some toxins, foods or allergies may be the reason for this ailment. Following signs and symptoms may help to recognize the Juvenile arthritis
