Talk to Ent Surgeon on Benign Nodule
Asking for Mother, Female, 50 years old, thyroid gland
There is a 2 cm nodule on the right lobe of the thyroid gland. Can it be treated with medicine or surgery is essential?
You would require few tests to confirm the diagnosis .. it's not possible to decide it without investigations that a nodule is treatable with medicine or surgery ..
If you know about the node size then you must also have some relevant investigations in hand.... like Thyroid ultrasound or thyroid scan, Thyroid function tests and FNAC...
please share the details for further guidance.
