Asking For Mother, Female 52, islamabad

hello,my mother is 52 yr old,and she is not overweight,, she is taking medicines according to her doctor for her high bp problem,,now her bo is normal because of taking tenormin 50 mg daily,,is it ok for her to eat eggs in breakfast?? are eggs harmful to her??

She can have egg white daily in breakfast without salt. she can have whole egg without salt 2-3 times per week. Since she is hypertensive so it's better to increase the daily intake of seasonal fruits and vegetables.

She can take egg whites only in hardboiled form or an omelet. It's better for her to add some veggies such as onion, cabbage, tomato, coriander leaves etc in an omelet with a pinch of salt. Egg yolk is high in cholesterol which she needs to avoid.
