Why to consider igg food map test and hair metal test ? Is there any connection between these with autism or speech n language delay ? My son is speech n language delay. Currently goin for speech therapy, age 2.5 yrs. he has some red flags of autism but very mild. Speech n language delay but improving. One of the dr suggested me to get his igg test done to chcek his food allergies and modify his diets and add supplements accordingly. Can anyone guide ?

it's seems that you child have a spectrum autism disorder it's a very mild type doctor may b ask for these test so he /she may find out is there any food allergies or some nutrugenomic problem but if he is tolerating his food normally so no need for these test . and hair metal test r for the phycological issues and heavy metals for the diagnosis of autism or other problems like that ..

so is there any symptoms of intolerance of these foods ? if there r symptoms so you should consider these but naturally is he is tolerating these so you just have to consider the fact that he his autism can't b affected by these add some coconut oil in his diet or olive oil or full fat butter etc
avoid simple sugers and milk proteins n gulten rich foods
mostly children of this age have these allergies but the age of 5 he ll b fine go for proper speech therapy and also work on his proper nutrition
