Talk to Pediatrician on 5 Month Old Pooping After Every Feed

My 5.4 month old baby who is for past 1 month on formula feed is pooping after every feed. Im giving her enfamil 3.5 scoops on 4 ounce nestle water. Her stools are sometimes mushy kind, sometimes powered form with mushy bits. What should i do? Im really worried cause her weight is reducing. I feel she is also teething cause she keeps drooling and keeps her hand in mouth all day now. Please guide how to control her frequent stool issues.

Stool after every feed is normal, don’t worry. Start semi solid food now. Ideally baby should take motherfeed along with weaning food at this age. Start with rice cereal, banana, yogurt. Sagodana, soji kher. Give small quantity and one food at a time and watch for intolerance.

what was her frequency of passing stool before 1 month?
if her frequency is same since birth then it's completely normal.start weaning.

She was on mother feed and was passing stool every other day. Sometimes 2 days would pass and she wont pass stool. I had to switch to formula and what im seeing now is that she passes stool after every feed. What worries me is her rash and her sleep pattern that is being disturbed

try low lactose formula and start weening.. give probiotics she might be having lactose intolerance, and if you see her teething try to keep her hands clean as infants put their hands in mouth frequently due to itchy gums which can cause diarrhea itself.

it is normal.but must give equal dilution.4 Scoops on 4 ounce water.than weight will not reduce.

what is the frequency,??? per day how many stools she pass........ kindly give her feed in proper dilution...add semisolids start with banana then add sabudana kheer rice kheer mashed potatoes etc...avoid giving wheat and egg before 1 year of age.

Around 6 to 7 stool. I have started with rice cerelac. But she cries for milk after an hour. She only take 4 spoons of rice cerelac. Also, her rash is getting worse now due to continuous pooping.
