the increase of interval between feeds is normal in babies...start some semi solids to him
It is common for babies around 8 months of age to reduce milk intake, especially as they become more active and start consuming solid foods. Teething can also cause temporary discomfort, leading to decreased interest in feeding. Ensure he is still getting at least 500-600 ml of breast milk or formula daily. If he refuses the bottle, try offering milk in a cup or spoon. Monitor his hydration by checking for at least 6-7 wet diapers per day. If he is otherwise active and gaining weight appropriately, there is no immediate concern. However, if there is significant weight loss, persistent refusal of milk, or signs of dehydration, consult a pediatrician for further evaluation. Dr. Raza (MD, USA)
