it seems like viral illness and it should settle even with out using anything .
if he is feeding well, wetting nappies well.
no fever, alert and himself then please stop all the medication and its like a normal flu like illness and let him own immunity help him to recover.
its very important not to use too many medications on the young child . as many illnesses are viral and dont need anything except wait and let it pass.
