Talk to Pediatrician on Bacterial Infection
Asking For Self, Male 5, rahim yar khan
My 5 Months old daughter is suffering from recurring fever since 4 weeks. Bacterial infection seen through Peripheral test, HP 7.5, CRP 37. Treatment with antibiotics is continue through different doctors. Blood culture report will be available in 3 days. Despite with heavy antibiotics fever is still coming. Is there anyone who can suggest for better treatment or I can consultant with. Waiting for immediate reply. Thanks

Cant recomned any treatment without seeing patient.do urine c/s ,chest xray.also.wait fr culture.treating doctor should step up antibiotics.

I am trying to attach lab reports but the app is not allowing. CBC, CRP, CPK, MP, LFTS, URINE, X-RAY, DENGUE, PERIPHERAL blood Reports completed. Today blood culture initial report is expected. Doctor also suggested s.triglycerides, HLH reports. I can share reports via email or whatsapps.

Reports plus clinical condition of patient to be seen both.just making decision on labs z nt professional.if its suspicion of HLH.treating physician would have that criteria on which they r saying its HLH.for HLH there should b proper smear,fibrinogen,Triglycerides,Serum Ferritin,LFTs,plus proper examination of patient.

Serum triglycerides result 302 normal 150.... Serum ferritin result >1000 normal 20-250... Serum febrogen result will come tomorrow. Will you please diagnose why these results are high and what exactly is the disease.
