Talk to Pediatrician on Black Stool

I am Alhmdulillah almost 4 months pregnant, my dr prescribed me IBERET FOLIC but since m using it m noticing dark black stool, is it a sign of worry, kindly guide me if this medicine is save for me , I am having it right after breakfast.
