Talk to Pediatrician on Black Tongue
Asking For Self, Male 7, lahore
dear doctors today when my child woke up I have seen his black tongue. what could be the reason? what can be done immediately? is it something to worry about? he is on probiotics since 15 days named Ecotec. child age 7 months.

Do you breast feed him? He may be having fungal infection of tongue such as oral candidiasis. You can start him nystatin oral drops, 2.5 ml x thrice a day for 5 days. Can you take a picture and post here?
