My son is 25 days and he’s having a breastfeeding and Nanpro1 formula but its been almotd 2 days he is having a blood mucus in his poop. He is having no fever but now he is but fussy and thinks he is having a abdominal pain he eats well poop well but still blood in stool very terrifying me as a mother.

nothing to worry. it is no uncommon in the neonates. it is called Acute bloody diarrea with dysentery as it is less than 7 days. 25 days baby is 3 to kg or please weight your kid then I will tell you according to weight. roughly estimation I am going to give these medication for your neonate
1. susp novidat 125mg/5ml half tea spoon or 2.5ml two times a day.
2. susp Flagyl 125mg/5ml 2.5ml or half tea spoon 3 time a day.
3. syp zincat 2.5ml or half tea spoon once a day.
4. give plenty of breast feed try to avoid formula milk if your milk is not enough please take plenty of fluids and juices. if still not then change milk to NL-33 FOR TIME BEING then reshuffle to your milk after finishing diarrhea.
and keep close observation on your kid dehydration singns like sunken eyes and if any skin loss it's tightness or turbidity.
give novidat for 3 days and Flagyl for 5 days.
