Talk to Pediatrician on Brushing Teeth

My daughter is 1.5 year i want to ask that i hav bought abc toothpaste and a tooth brush can i brush my child with that toothpaste ? Though she doesnt know how to spit so whats applicable for brushing teeth for 1.5 year baby
