my 1.5 years old nephew has fever ,cough(productive)and possibly pneumonia. has taken cefixime and amoxicillin for it but his symptoms are not improving. which antibiotic should he take?
better to consult (either inclinic or online consultation) with pediatrician so that he can be assessed properly and appropriate treatment can b provided

first of all, not all cough and flu is pneumonia. since how many days does he have symptoms?
has any
doctor given you diagnosis of pneumonia? does he have difficulty breathing? have you had any chest X ray done?
it's not advisable to keep changing antibiotics without any reason.
it requires physical examination in the form of listening the chest with a stethoscope

need proper examination and if needed x rays will be advised.
better to chk in clinic for examination by pediatrician need blood test and x.ray chest
kindly take follow up visit with your nearby child specialist or either online don't give self medicine or not chnge antibiotics immediately specialist first check the sign and dose of medicine if taken antibiotics for long tym aur not affected then after check up he will chnge this
