Talk to Pediatrician on Continuous Cough
Asking For Someone else, Son, Male, 7 Years old, Lahore
My son aged 7 months old is having fevers from last 2 days blocked nose and cough that doesn’t suoress. Took him to Dr he gave Ceclor syrup coferb drops and nebulise with Clenil and atem. But his cough doesn’t stops at all. Please help I am very worried
Continue Breast feed and weaning foods.
Stop to give fresh milk.
Clean Nose with cotton cloth.
Nebulize with normal Saline.
Start to give Syp. Acefyl half tsf 8hourly.
continue same treatment and wait for 2 more days. it's ok if baby is active and oral intake is good
appears to be viral infection. give panadol syp,
continue with above too.
medicine are good continue it decrease milk intake it increase sputum n cough
u can give him honey for soothing n if syp not effecting give him stop prospane 1+1+1

dear dun be worried now a days viral infection is common in Pakistan due to weather condition AP medicine continue rakhen or semisolid food den syp prospane day sakte hen for cough

If symptoms aren't settling with all treatment for 02 days..Thentake him to Emergency of Children hosp. for Rexamination and chest CXR.If Not possible at this time give him Warm Water Steam in closed environment nd CT treatment till morning.I hope baby is Taking Feed ...If Not its Serious.

He doesn’t have fever now. Just cough. It’s been 3rd day of him taking Ceclor and Nebulisation too. I am giving other foods instead of milk. I am worried about his cough

Continue with medication and nebulisation. Any family history of allergy? If so then report please.

Don't worry about it, start to give him Syp. Acefyl, and ventilated his bedroom.
