My son is 6 months old and he had viral infection. The doctor gave him Klaricid but another doctor advised to discontinue. what to do?

A viral infection doesn't need antibiotics. superimposed bacterial infection does need.

If its viral then no need for antibiotics just continue with symptomatic treatment.
