Asking For Other, Male 3, Islamabad
Aoa Today my 3 year old son's pediatrician prescribed Oramel for severe sleep issues. The prescription is for Oramel Syrup and dosage is 2.5 ml. Later I bought the med, but the chemist gave me Oramel drops instead of syrup saying the potency is the same. I gave the child 2.5ml as prescribed but later found the recommended dosage on the drops leaflet to be 10 drops. Is this a problem. I can't seem to confirm this. Please confirm urgently whether I have overdosed the med. Jazak-Allah-Khayr
walaikum salaam
strength of both syrup and drops is different
2.5ml of drops means u have given 5 mg
dose is high there is range of dose which u can give to your child so please dont worry
this is not toxic dose
next time give only recommended dose according to age of your child.
