Talk to Pediatrician on Face Rash

My baby is 6 months old and from last evening has a rash around his mouth (please refer pic), please tell if its drool rash or something other than that and what can i do to prevent it from increasing Thanks

If the rash appeared over a relatively short period of time, from minutes to a few hours, it may an allergic reaction to something, possibly to a newly introduced solid food. Drooling rash is more gradual in onset. Rash due to a food allergy can be prevented by identifying and avoiding the particular food the infant is suspected to be allergic to. To avoid a drooling rash the area around mouth should be kept smeared with white petroleum jelly so that the mouth water or saliva does not come in contact with the skin.
