Asking For Self, Female 2, Islamabad
my daughter is almost 2 months old and I am trying to giver her formula Nestle Nan optipro and she is not ready to take it she always refuse it so can I add sugar in milk ? or is there any other way to give her the milk
never use sugar in milk ,in formula milk alresy sweet in taste but if baby sucking good than no issue try to continue mother feed and ater 3month start suji, some time babies take more tme for adjuct with formula milk
only mother feed
ideally you should only breastfeed your child but you need to switch to formula ,you can try morinaga bf 1, it is very well tolerated amongst most children
since your child has been on exclusive breast feed for 2 months, she milk take some time to adapt to formula milk, but no additives are required in formula feeds
It is recommended to feed breastmilk as it is greatly beneficial to the infant. It’s important not to add sugar to your 2-month-old’s formula, as it can harmful. Infants may take time to adjust to formula milk, so you can try different feeding techniques such as using a slow-flow nipple if the current one is uncomfortable, offering the formula at a slightly warmer or room temperature, or gradually mixing breast milk with formula to ease the transition. If she continues to refuse, you may want to try a different formula or consult your pediatrician to ensure she’s getting the necessary nutrients and to rule out any underlying issues.
