Assalamoalikum dr, my niece is *4months old* and running fever in between 99-102(axilla readings) since last 24hrs so we gave her panadol every 6hrs and now at this current episode of 102, our family Dr has recommended *amoxil 52.5mg*, so should we give it her? Actually he's GP so that's why we wanted to confirm from Peads specialist.
It depends on what is the focus of fever. Only after examining the child, a treatment plan can be made. Trust your Doctor if he has prescribed medication after assessing your child.
It's better to show her to child specialist otherwise continue treatment as advised by GP
