My son is 3 months 22 days old. His circumcision is due but the doctor has confirmed that he has Hypospadias issue and first it needs to be treated and then later circumcision will be done. Is Hypospadias surgery necessary? cant we get the circumcision done straight away? Secondly, now circumcision are done by installing a ring ..... is this correct with respect to our religion ? what are advantages of this method? Regards.
Your doctor is absolutely right. No circumcision for these children before correction of hypospadias. Do not circumcise. Go to a urologist or a Pediatric surgeon.
Please consult a Paediatric Urologist first. If it is significant Hypospadias, surgery should be carried out before any other urological procedure. Thanks
