Talk to Pediatrician on Inconsistent Stool Colour
Asking for Other, Male, 2 years old, Karachi
My son is 2.5 yrs old. He passed yellowish mustard type loose motion(liquid but sticky type - chiknay motion) thrice in a day. I started Entamizole and ZincDay. The next day he passed normal consistentcy stool but in white colour then he has been passing stool twice to thrice in a day. But in one go he passes 2 diff blobs of colour stool (green/ yellow ; pale yellow, brown). Kindly adivce.

this type of pattern can be observed with changes in diet .depends on what he's eating throughout the day.

it's normal. it will take a few days to get to it's normal colour. as long as the stool is not blood stained and the loose stools don't persist for more than 2 weeks, and he isn't running a fever or is dehydrated, no need to worry
