Assalam o Alaikum,
2 saal ke bache mein 3 din se loose motion aur ab vomiting ke sath khana na khana dehydration ka high risk hai.
Har motion/vomiting ke baad ORS chhote sips me dete rahen.
Easily digestible cheezein (banana, khichri, yogurt) agar tolerate kar sake.
Doodh aur oily cheezein avoid karein.
Agar bacha pani bhi nahi rok pa raha, susu kam ho gaya hai, ya bachay ki halat dull ho rahi hai to fori taur pe nearest hospital le kar jayein — drip ki zarurat ho sakti hai.
Aap chahein to video consultation book kar sakte hain with Dr. Fizza Noor for urgent personalized guidance.

I understand how worrying it can be when a child is unwell, especially when they’re not eating or drinking properly. If your child has had loose motions for 3 days and is not taking any oral feeds, this could be a sign of dehydration, which can become serious very quickly in children.
Here are a few important points to consider:
? Why You Should Seek Medical Attention Now:
3 days of diarrhea without improvement is already a red flag.
Refusal to take fluids increases the risk of dehydration, which can lead to complications like weakness, sunken eyes, dry mouth, reduced urination, and even lethargy.
Sometimes, children may need IV fluids if they cannot stay hydrated through oral intake.
It’s also important to rule out any underlying infection or condition that might require treatment.
✅ What You Can Do Immediately:
Try offering ORS (oral rehydration solution) in small sips or with a spoon every few minutes.
Avoid giving sugary drinks or juices—they can make diarrhea worse.
Monitor for signs of dehydration (dry lips, sunken eyes, no tears when crying, no urine in 6 hours, drowsiness).
?Please Don’t Wait Any Longer — A Doctor Needs to See Your Child
Children can deteriorate quickly, and the best thing you can do for your child right now is to get a professional medical evaluation. Even if it turns out to be something minor, it’s always better to be safe—especially with young children.
