My 11 months baby is having diarrhea since 5 days. He passes loose stools 2 times a day and vomiting once a day. Hes has low grade fever on n off and hes irritable. Plus hes teething. He has 4 teeth and2 more coming.
It seems viral, please use ORS, Banana and Yogrut and continue milk feeding, if symptoms persists then visit a Pediatrician
we need to do three things....
1. record temperature at home with thermometer....
2. good hands and feeder hygiene.
3. low osmolar ORS, Banana, yougurt, avoid bakery items and give less milk and milk products these days.......
will settle with time, two motions a day and one vomit dont harm baby, we just need to maintain good hygiene and good hydration.......
This is Mild DIARHEA and needs ORS /Pedialyte after every loose stools. Teething causes itching and secretions only. And child bites things to relieve itching and gets loose motions.. Syp Brufen 5ml after every 8 hours will help itching. Also plenty of fluids to be given. May Allah bless him health soon.
