Asslam o alykum. My one year 4 months daughter has problem when she crying or smiling her mouth shrink on left said. She did not give expiration of joy and laughing just fellings.
has she always had this problem or is it something new?
i think she needs to see a Paediatrician to assess her facial movements and Facial Nerve status.

you need to contact a Neurologist who will assess the child and might consider some investigations. Do not delay as the problem might become permanant.

Most likely she has facial nerve damage .As it is present since birth it may be congenital,post traumatic during birth or due to some brain pathology .She requires full examination as well few investigations along with physiotherapy and treatment of the cause.
