my 13days old young girl is suffering from constipation.that is she passes hard stool with lot of difficulty few times on 24,hrs.stools are yellow.no smell she is breastfed and formula fes too. i.started her with morinaga but sincr yesterday i switched to lactogen . as per home remedies i gave her hamdard ke gutti gripe water colic drops on and off.
should i opt for micronema???? plz help me any neonatologist or pediatrician

Was she ok before starting formula milk? if so then consider stopping or reducing the formula milk. Formula milk can cause constipation in babies.
In the mean time give her syrup Lactulose half-1 spoon twice daily for few weeks

yes for first 3days she was ok...she passed meconium type stool first then it turned to yellow .my feed was not enough i started with formula from begening.
but i noticed hardstool after 7days of life with juandice.one thing more during juandice i gave her water and silver sugar mixture very much.extra plane water can do all this i dont know.
we switched to another formula .
