Talk to Pediatrician on Newborn-baby Decrease Oxygen Saturation And Vomits
Asking for Other, Male, 0.1 years old, Lahore
My brother's twin babies(1boy,1girl) were born 2 days ago in Shalimar hosp lahore. The boy is admitted in ICU under observation due to minor issue in decrease in oxygen saturation at some time and vomits after feeding with top feed(nan).The doctors are not telling the clear issue and started antibiotics today. Is it a serious issue to be kept in ICU for more days or it will be covered with MOTHER FEED, likely to start today? Should they discharge baby from ICU and continue antibiotic themselves. Plz guide according to medical report of baby and medicines suggested in prescription.

if child is in ICU its mean he is serious ....
ICU is only for serious patients
decrease in saturation is not a minor issue and if child is in ICU, he is sick. he is being treated for sepsis. I suggest you continue the treatment at the hospital in ICU

F baby is dropping sats there could b some reason fr it btr to keep baby n icu until n unless he r she breathe spontaneously n f stable then they wl discrge.u shd meet n disuss wd treating physician.clinical assmnt is must.no one shd just read report and make plan.
