Hi. My son is 7 months old. He is having congestion along with cough from almost 1.5 months. He do not have fever and he is active. But he cough alot after feed. And vomits sometimes. Doctor prescribed him acefyl and steam. But he is not getting better. Please suggest me what should i do so he get better. Thanks in advance.
Aa dear. infants are very delicate and cough is a reaction to a number of underlying conditions. We don't treat cough but underlying problem . please visit a nearby pediatrician for a thought evaluation. would be beneficial for baby
At this age usually viral respiratory infection are followed by secretions produced by respiratory tract. And occasionaly vomiting but not more than once or twice in 24 hours. Mostly not significant situAtion. However should visit paediatrician.
Thanks?he may e allergic to something so he needs some regular medicine to prevent having such attacks, so please visit your child specialist to get further advise
