Talk to Pediatrician on Pain In Ear

Asking for Other, Female, 2 years old, Lahore

Assalam U Alaikum Need doctor's guidance My toddler is 2 years old and today around 4pm she accidentally stuck a match stick in her ear. She got hurt and cried on top of her lungs. After an episode of weeping, she slept peacefully and woke up at again complained of pain and I gave her 5ml of children's Panadol liquid at around 7pm. Afterwards she behaved normally and continued with her normal routine.

She again slept at 12 am and again woke up at around 3am complaining about severe pain and weeping. I gave her 5ml of children's Panadol liquid again and after some time she played normally and slept at around 4:20 am.

Her pediatrician wasn't available today. I'll visit the doctor tomorrow IN SHA ALLAH.

I just want to make sure that everything is ok and should i be concerned about her ear? Is it something to be worried about? Will the pain settle down on its own? Or do i need any course of medicine? JAZAKALLAH
