Asking for Other, Male, 5 years old, Islamabad

My son age 5 was advised adenotonsillectomy few years ago. We want to avoid. He has allergies and probably asthma as well. Is it safe if we keep giving him myteka chewable at night. Britannyl cough syrup and keep nebulising with full nebule clenil compositum. Also please tell accurate exact dosage of myteka Brittany and clenil. Actually leaflet says myteka before 6 years is 4 MG but pharmacist gave 5mg.is it dangerous.

Asthma is a clinical diagnosis, I am not sure about the events leading up to this diagnosis.

Treatment of Asthma is very systemic and depends upon the severity of symptoms. One treatment for one child may not be the same for other.

For the time being try:

1) Ventolin inhaler via mask and spacer (2-4 puffs) when needed such as wheezing or shortness of breath.

2) Becotide 50 Micrograms inhaler
One puff two times a day every day via mask and spacer.

Nebulizer is NOT recommended at home without seeing a qualified and experienced Paediatrician.
