Doctor, is this medication safe for my 2.5-year-old daughter? pediatrician prescribed her
1. Deltacortril (Prednisone) 10mg for 3 days, then 5mg for 3 days
2. Britnel syrup 2.5ml twice a day
3. Mytaka (Montelukast sodium) 4mg Pediatrician prescribed her one Month

Definitely if paediatrician had prescribed medication he must be more known about condition of patient n medication. No one can poke without knowing the condition of patient
yes , pediatric suspect I think so allergic asthma and given best medication and dosing. So go ahead with this medication just according to doctor instruction.

I must emphasise though that without knowing the complete history and examining the child. This approach is wrong and can be dangerous as you might end up getting conflicting advice which may harm the child.
If there are any doubts or you are not happy with a Paediatrician (child specialist), you may take your child to another qualified Paediatrician.
I would urge all other doctors as well to avoid giving advice or suggesting medications for such cases.
