my son is 3 months old. hhe is having cough from 2 days. doc prescribed him Britanyl syrup iml dose 3 times a day. afyer fvng frst dose he shiver gradually,or didnt go to sleeep , e ome pro active and slept after 2,3 hours. is it safe for baby???

There are lot serious side effects of cough syps & better to avoid these .very few consultants rarely use when indicated for few stop this syrup.
