Talk to Pediatrician on Sleep Duration

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 25 years old, Lahore

My baby is 2 months 12 days old. She is on bottle feed and takes 3 oz at a time. From a few days she has started to sleep through the night. She sleeps for good 6-7 hours at a stretch without demanding for feed. I have always fed ber on demand. Is it fine to let her sleep this much without waking her up for feed. Her birth weight was 2.6kg and at 2 month checkup she was 4.3 kg I'm worried about weight loss and weakness.

your baby's weight gain is acceptable.
you should be happy that your baby is sleeping for 6-7 hours at night and not bothering you...that also means that she is happy with the feed she is consuming during rest of the day.

that's normal. you should be grateful, she does not keep you awake whole night .

She has max 3 full diapers in 24 hours
Is this normal too? Hydration status?
She takes bottle 6-8 times
