1 month old baby have sacral dimple just above buttocks picture attached u/s is done report attached. I want to ask that can she suffer from any urinary or bowel movement problem? Will this be corrected on its own?
well urinary and bowel problems are associated with spina bifida but not in everyone, she may not get these problems. even if she develops these, effective treatments are still available. no, this won't correct on its own
yes baby with spina bifida can suffer from urinary and bowel movement problems. it needs monitoring and proper management.

yes . . . urinary and bowel incontinence can also be due to the weak muscle control and physiotherapist will help you in muscle strengthening
