My 12 yrs old daughter had chicken pox 5 April. Doc gave medication acelex syrup. no complications and no fever. she got cured. we went to a wedding last week and she collapsed with severe fits and took her to emergency hospital. they gave her antibiotics and antivirals for 14 days which will end 1st May. All MRI Fundoscopy are normal

Did they Do Lumbar Puncture I.e test of Fluid from spinal cord to diagnose brain infection that is Meningits to confirm diagnosis.
Also did she have only one episode of fits or more ...If so she needs to have an EEG..kindly discuss with her treating doctor.

yes only one episode of fits.No MRI is clear so we didn't go for lumbar puncture

if no further fits baby is ok than just follow up according to dr advice dnt worry if no behaviour changes
