What about right upper limb (hand and arm)?
Does he pick things with right hand?
What about tone, power and reflexes?
Any facial abnormality?
Its all important to know to rule out one sided weakness that can be due to brain involvement secondary to various causes

Proper consultation and examination is even then necessary. Do not put baby in walker as its too early and it will aggravate the problem.
In the long run MRI brain without contrast may be required to rule out any evolving issue
