After leg day at gym, my back started hurting about 2 weeks ago. The pain comes and goes. I have taken painkillers, which help sometimes. Some days it feels better, but on other days I feel stiffness and pain, especially while sitting. When I warm up my body, the pain reduces. I am worried...please help what I should do
You are suffering with muscle weakness. Visit physiotherapy clinic near you as soon as possible.
Yes light workouts and walking can help by improving blood flow, reducing stiffness, and supporting recovery. Avoid heavy lifting for now, focus on gentle stretching and core-strengthening. If pain persists, physiotherapy is strongly recommended.
visit clinic
Most probably you have muscle spasm which relieves with warm up and heat. Consult your nearest physiotherapist for better physical examination and treatment

first of all you need to focus on proper posture during exercise take at least two weeks break from gym consult an orthopedic
it can be a msucle spasm, avoid heavy exercises, visit physiotherapist for proper examination, it's a treatable condition
Based on your history, it appears to be a case of exercise-induced muscle damage, which often occurs when delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) sets in after a rigourous gym session. The pain when sitting is a concerning sign, and I recommend a thorough physiotherapeutic evaluation to determine the origin of your pain. It's possible that locked sacroiliac joints could be contributing to the issue, given the area you've indicated and the legs game put a strenuous amount of load on Sacrum. You haven't mentioned the intensity of pain, or how it's provoked or alleviated! So, that why I advise you to schedule a proper physiotherapy session to manage this condition. Additionally, before returning to the gym, it's essential to understand the biomechanics of your body, so you can work effectively towards better health and fitness in your gym sessions rather than worsening it.

Assalam o Alaikum!
Achilles tendinopathy can be classified into two types: insertional and non-insertional and most of the time, it's insertional which is diagnosed. The Achilles tendon inserts into the calcaneum, I'm sure, you must have searched about your condition, that's why I am explaining to you in clinical terms. Typically, inflammation or damage occurs due to overuse, poor biomechanics, or inadequate footwear choices. Given its attachment to the calcaneum (heel bone), which provides support during standing and shock absorption during heel strike, disruptions in gait patterns can exacerbate the condition. In a normal gait (walking cycle) , forces are balanced, and joints work in synchrony. Since you have mentioned Achilles tendonitis, it's likely that there's altered biomechanics or excessive stress on your calcaneum, disrupting its function during the gait cycle. This can lead to tight calf muscles, which share a common tendon with the Achilles, and tight hamstrings, putting additional pressure on your hip and back, contributing to stiffness when lying or sitting. A thorough evaluation of your gait cycle and muscular testing, particularly focusing on your calf muscles, hamstrings, and glutes, would be beneficial to address these issues and develop an effective treatment plan.

You should do gentle stretches, modifying activities to avoid exacerbating pain, and proper warm-up routines could help alleviate symptoms. Physiotherapy can be beneficial to address muscle strains, improve posture, and learn targeted exercises to reduce back pain and prevent future issues.
